If you're passionate about providing exceptional care and want to work in an environment that values growth, we'd love to hear from you.Shift Details: Full-time, 40 hours per weekCaregiver may be hired on at a Level I, II, or III, depending on experience and qualifications.Sign-on Bonus up to $2500 for eligible applicantsRelocation assistance availableWe are looking for candidates with 2+ years of scanning experience in pediatric congenital heart disease, and those that have passed the pediatric echo registry exam.Level I Minimum Qualifications:ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providersLevel II Minimum Qualifications:ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.Must achieve each of the following areas:Certification/Registry - Obtain any two of the national registry credential(s) through ARDMS, CCI, or ASN as applicable to the department: Vascular technology; Adult Echo; Adult Congenital Echo; Advanced Cardiac SonographerObtain a minimum of one registry with the following years of service: ?10 years of cardiology/healthcare service -OR- ?5+ cardiology/healthcare service + Associates DegreeCompetency (participate in either of the following): Echo; Adult Congenital; Fetal; Pediatric; Vascular; Arterial ScansLevel III Minimum Qualifications:ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.Must achieve each of the following areas:Certification/Registry: Obtain any three of the national registry credential(s) through ARDMS, CCI, or ASN as applicable to the department or years of serviceObtain a minimum of one registry with the following years of service:: ?15+ years of cardiology/healthcare service or ?10+ years of cardiology/healthcare service + bachelor's or master's DegreePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.Pediatric Registry completed2 years of experience in Pediatric CardiologyPhysical Requirements:Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.Location: Intermountain Health Primary Childrens Hospital, Primary Childrens at LehiWork City: Salt Lake CityWork State: UtahScheduled Weekly Hours: 40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
