Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
License Requirement: Pharmacy Technician License/Registration and Certification required
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment provides assistance in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications. This position is responsible for accurately preparing prescriptions through the fulfillment system while supporting patients, physicians, pharmacists, and insurance-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach.
- Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
- Escalate prescription-related questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance on proper processing.
- Assist with inbound and outbound patient and physician calls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration and certification as required by the state of operation.
- Pharmacy Technician License required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy fulfillment environment
