You will work closely with senior team members to prepare tax returns, support client engagements, and develop technical tax knowledge while delivering an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare federal, state, and local tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, individuals, and other entity typesAssist with multi-state tax compliance and related filingsSupport tax consulting and planning engagements by gathering and analyzing financial and tax dataConduct tax research and assist with the interpretation and application of tax laws and regulationsPrepare workpapers and supporting documentation in accordance with firm standards and deadlinesCommunicate effectively with clients and internal team members to gather information and resolve issuesAssist with responding to tax notices, requests, and other client inquiriesManage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detailUtilize tax software and technology tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax preparation and compliance processesContribute to a positive team environment focused on collaboration, continuous learning, and excellent client serviceStay current on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends through ongoing professional developmentQualificationsBachelor of Science in Accounting requiredCPA eligibility requiredMinimum of 1–2 years of experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experienceExperience with partnership, S corporation, individual, and/or multi-state taxation preferredStrong writing, communication, and tax research skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelExperience with tax technology and tax preparation software is a plusCommitment to providing exceptional client service and building strong professional relationshipsWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
