Responsibilities:Define HW architecture for integration into OEM vehiclesDefine and Design mechanical and thermal hardware solutionsDesign cosmetic covers and finishes for the autonomous vehiclesWork with OEM and partners to get buy in on final designs and integration plansHelp build and improve new and current designs Work with cross functional teams to define product requirementsEnsure that your work is performed in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Ensure team compliance with QMS, monitor quality, and drive process improvements.Required Skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years of hands-on, detailed product design experienceProficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, Unigraphics Experience working with surfacing tools on CAD toolsGD&T knowledge and experience releasing 2D drawingsExperience with vendor FAI/CPK dimensional reportsPractical experience working through DFM challenges with external vendorsPdmlink/ Arena knowledge and experience a plusPreferred Skills: Extensive experience using CAD, product design, managing requirements, tracking and resolving issues and resolutions.Ability to work cross functionally with other departments to achieve product goals.Demonstrated hands-on mechanical and manufacturing process experience and engineering development.Experience with FEA tools and understanding of vibration, fatigue and solid mechanicsFirst-principles physics understanding of multiple engineering disciplines such as: heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and electrical fundamentals.Ability to travel.$150,000 - $195,000 a yearExact compensation may vary based on skills and experienceYour opportunities joining PlusAIWork, learn and grow in a highly future-oriented, innovative and dynamic field.Wide range of opportunities for personal and professional development.Catered free lunch, unlimited snacks and beverages.Highly competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k) plan.We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
