Learn more at Roles and Responsibilities: Demonstrate effective time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization while gathering, monitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in patient conditions. Provide compassionate, ethical, and professional nursing care within the scope of practice while advocating for patient needs and safety. Maintain clinical knowledge and competency specific to the assigned care area and complete all required organizational education within established timeframes. Communicate effectively and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and promote quality patient care. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), promote evidence-based practices, and participate in unit councils and staff meetings. Required Skills and Experience: Graduate of a Nursing Program Certification: As required for your care area. May include: CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, Specialty Certification recommended Must complete NCLEX certification examination within 6 months of hire Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience: Prior patient care and customer service experience preferred Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse Physical Requirements: May require lifting (up to 50 lbs.), may require sitting or standing for long periods.
