With more than 25 years of success, they are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to take ownership of a busy insurance defence caseload while working alongside some of the state's most respected trial lawyers. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a trial-focused environment, and wants to play a key role in complex litigation. The Role You'll manage your own docket of insurance defence matters, acting as the day-to-day attorney from strategy through to trial. Key responsibilities include: Managing a caseload of auto, trucking and premises liability matters Leading depositions, court appearances and hearings Developing case strategy and advising clients Drafting motions, briefs and other legal documentation Preparing for and participating in trials Working closely with partners while enjoying significant autonomy About You To be considered, you'll have: 8+ years' insurance defence litigation experience Experience managing a full caseload independently Strong courtroom and trial experience Excellent legal drafting and advocacy skills Admission to practice law in Texas Experience gained within a litigation boutique or mid-sized defence firm would be advantageous.
