Common seen diagnosis Post operations for CABG, valve replacement/ repair, Impella, IABP management, thoracic aortic aneurysms etc. ● Patient Ratios: · RN: 1:2 · CNA: 1:20 ● Required Licensure & Certifications: · BLS, ACLS, NIHSS · CCRN (preferred) ● Skills required: · EPIC experience (preferred); Post cardiac assessment, know how to care for circulatory support (IABP, IMPELLA, LVAD, ECMO), titration of vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medication, interpretation of cardiac waveforms, and hemodynamic monitoring. ● Support within the Department: · CNA: ADLs, Blood Sugar, vital signs and transport · Receptionist: Unit management of phone calls, and replacement.
