Primary Care Assistant MA or LPN - Edmond Signal Ridge

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Edmond Signal Ridge Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm. Open positions for Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or EMT/Paramedic. Responsibilities Prepare patients for a visit by completing the Advanced Standard room process—including entering chief complaints, vital signs, reviewing history and allergies, medication reconciliation, addressing care gaps (fall risk, depression, breast and colorectal cancer screening, diabetic eye exams), rechecking elevated blood pressures, and documenting in Epic for yearly preventative visits. Assist with in‑office testing, such as drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point‑of‑care testing. Administer vaccines and other injections within scope of practice. Solve follow‑up appointments as needed per office policy. Collaborate with providers and the clinical team to monitor and coordinate delivery of patient care plans. Qualifications Medical Assistant: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in pediatrics. Certified Medical Assistant: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Certification: Must have an active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or hold an EMT/Paramedic credential. Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire. LPN: Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program. Licensure: Active LPN or RN license. Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferred, especially in pediatrics.
