THE ROLE

We are hiring a Social Media Associate to own our always-on presence across every channel: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. You will run the calendar, post consistently, manage the community in the comments and DMs, and, most importantly, make content that is genuinely good enough to stop a thumb.

You will work with brand (who sets the voice), the graphic designer (assets), and the events and community teams (a firehose of real moments to capture). This is a creator role as much as a manager role: you should be comfortable pulling out a phone, shooting, and cutting something great yourself. Bold ideas are welcome and expected-a recurring series starring our providers, a trend we hijack in an hour, a video that makes autism care feel warm and human instead of clinical.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the channels:

• Run the content calendar and post consistently across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
• Tailor content to each platform instead of cross-posting the same thing everywhere

Make content people stop for:

• Shoot and edit short-form video yourself, from events, providers, and families
• Jump on trends fast and turn everyday moments into scroll-stopping content

Grow and engage the audience:

• Grow followers, reach, and engagement, and actually talk to people in the comments and DMs
• Build a steady pipeline of provider and family stories and user-generated content

Tell real stories:

• Turn our providers, families, and moments (yes, the alpacas) into content that builds real trust

Measure and improve:

• Track what works, double down on it, and report on growth and the inbound social drives

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• In 90 days: A consistent posting cadence is live across channels, you have a system for capturing moments from events and providers, and a few pieces have clearly outperformed the baseline.
• In a year: A meaningfully bigger and more engaged audience, a recognizable Alpaca content style, and social that reliably drives real inbound from families and providers.

WHO YOU ARE

• You are a self-starter who owns both the calendar and the camera.
• You have taste. You know what good looks like, and you know what feels cringe.
• You are native to the platforms. You live in TikTok and Instagram and you actually understand culture and trends.
• You are full of bold ideas and pragmatic enough to ship something every day.
• You can shoot and edit yourself (a phone plus CapCut, Premiere, or your tool of choice).
• You are a strong writer with a voice.
• You care about families navigating autism care, and you can tell their stories with warmth and respect.

• You have grown an audience before, your own or a brand's, and can show the numbers
• Healthcare, consumer, or creator experience
