Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

$2203.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality RN care on a PCU unit, supporting patients with diverse medical needs. This travel position requires a proactive, skilled nurse capable of managing complex clinical situations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Recognize and respond swiftly to dysrhythmias and critical drips.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor cardiac and clinical equipment, ensuring accurate readings.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid and active Compact RN license required at submission, along with NH RN license at start.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated expertise in dysrhythmia recognition and critical drip management.
  
  
• 
  Skilled in pre- and post-cardiac cath and pacer patient care (preferred).
  
  
• 
  Ability to work self-directed with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
