MRO Oracle EBS Business Architect

Salary: $150,000 - 165,000 per year Requirements:
- We require U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship.
- We require an active DoD Secret clearance or Public Trust IT2 eligibility for Secret access.
- We require a bachelors degree, although equivalent related experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
- We require 10+ years of relevant Oracle EBS experience assessing business models in a DoD environment, integrating technology, and driving business transformation.
- We require hands-on expertise implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle EBS Supply Chain, Logistics, Financial, Procurement, and related modules.
- We require strong knowledge of Air Force business processes, systems, and operational workflows.
- We require experience with legacy FMO interfaces and tools such as D035J/FIABS and SMAS.
- We require a solid understanding of legacy interfaces and modernization approaches for future-state solutions.
- We require proven success evaluating current-state operations, identifying customer needs, and defining future-state business solutions.
- We require demonstrated expertise in functional process architecture for large-scale Oracle EBS and/or ERP transformation efforts.
- We require the ability to lead discussions, communicate clearly, and collaborate across teams to achieve alignment.
- We require leadership experience in requirements definition, blueprinting, Conference Room Pilot sessions, and functional design reviews.
- We require the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and guide stakeholder training.
- We require experience using analytical frameworks to assess business models and processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
- We require prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- We require strong information-gathering and synthesis skills.
- We require a strategic mindset with the ability to spot improvement opportunities and deliver measurable results.
- We require the ability to translate customer needs into actionable business solutions.
- We require effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with mixed government and contractor teams.
- We require the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels.
- Preferred: prior support of a DoD ERP modernization program.
- Preferred: industry-recognized training or certifications in business architecture.
- Preferred: Oracle E-Business Suite certification.
- We assess the current business state, identify customer requirements and capability gaps, and define a future-state model aligned to strategic objectives.
- We collaborate closely with stakeholders to integrate business models with technology and bridge legacy interfaces with modern systems.
- We synthesize complex inputs, research best practices, and develop practical solutions that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- We provide subject matter expertise and authoritative guidance on Oracle usage, Air Force workflows, and enterprise transformation efforts.
- We design, document, and improve end-to-end business processes, including workflows, characteristics, and key performance indicators.
- We provide strategic Oracle EBS guidance for Maintenance, Supply, AFWCF, and related functional areas.
- We participate in RICEFW development, integration, data requirements, and testing activities.
- We support development-phase work and present system demonstrations during blueprinting sessions and Conference Room Pilots to validate requirements.
- We partner with business process owners to build detailed process blueprints, define business requirements, and advance standardization and efficiency.
- We participate in configuration and development activities and work with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure the solution matches the intended design and business needs.
- We provide training and support so customers understand the business process design and Oracle EBS functionality.
- We conduct quality management and design assurance reviews to confirm functional, business, and technical requirements are met before deployment.
- We own assigned functional process areas and Oracle EBS modules, overseeing requirements, process design, configuration guidance, and cross-functional alignment.
- We review code, unit test, and test script documentation for Agile development teams.
