HP Retail Sales Representative

Overview Regular part‑time work as an HP Retail Sales Associate at Best Buy 531 in South Portland, ME (04106).Pay: $18.50 per hour, up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday are preferred; flexible Fridays as needed. Responsibilities Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demos to meet their needs. Build rapport with customers and maintain professional relationships with store management and staff. Engage customers to create a memorable experience. Train store associates on HP products and services. Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo readiness. Report sales activity and competitive insights to Retail Operations. Meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals. Assist customers by escorting them to displays and recommending products. Provide information on products and services to advise customers. Accurately document and report sales. Keep workstation or kiosk clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable. Submit all required paperwork completely and accurately. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least six months of sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience. Minimum one year of overall job experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiasm. Outgoing personality with eagerness to learn. Comfortable engaging customers and demonstrating products. Ability to overcome objections and connect with customer needs. Retail or customer service experience in electronics, technology, or wireless is a plus.
