Clinical Sales Specialist – Interventional Pain & Spine

 The Role  

Axtera Medical is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Sales Specialist to support physician training, procedural adoption, and territory growth within the interventional pain and spine market. 

This role is ideal for a high-potential medical device professional with 1–3 years of experience in interventional pain, spine, neuromodulation, or minimally invasive procedural technologies. 

The ideal candidate is clinically confident, entrepreneurial, and excited to grow into a full territory ownership role within an early-stage, high-growth company. 

As a growing startup, this role will require a higher level of travel initially to support commercialization efforts, customer engagement, and team development. Over time, travel is expected to become more localized within the assigned territory. 

Responsibilities  

• Support physician education and procedural adoption 
• Provide in-room procedural support in ASC and outpatient settings 
• Build relationships with physicians, office staff, and ASC teams 
• Support case coverage, scheduling, and account development 
• Learn and communicate procedural workflows and clinical value 

Preferred Experience  

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• 1–3 years of medical device clinical or associate sales experience 
• Experience in interventional pain, neuromodulation, spine, or minimally invasive procedural technologies 
• Comfortable supporting procedures in ASC, OBL, cath lab, or OR settings 
• Experience in fluoroscopy-guided and sterile field environments 
• Experience introducing new procedural technologies or workflows strongly preferred
