Job Summary:
At Seniors Helping Seniors Lanier, we understand the importance of providing compassionate and personalized care to our seniors. As an In-Home Companion, you will play a vital role in brightening the lives of our clients by offering a helping hand and a friendly smile. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team of senior caregivers, who will provide companionship, support, and shared experiences to our clients in their homes in Clarkesville, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
Provide emotional support and companionship to seniors in their homes, engaging in activities such as conversation, games, and hobbies
Assist with daily living tasks, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
Help with medication reminders, errands, and other tasks as needed
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure a seamless care experience
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a caregiving role or related field (n/a)
Ability to provide emotional support and companionship to seniors
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in Clarkesville, Georgia
