Employment Type: Full Time - 80 HRS Per 2 Weeks (12-Hour Shifts)

Compensation: Pay Range: $150,000-$190,000 Per Year

Description

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time position in a fast-paced outpatient urgent care setting. This role is based in Fairfield County, CT & New Haven, CT, offering a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts. The position requires proficiency in handling a variety of acute illnesses and injuries, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with a clinical team.

Requirements

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries. Perform comprehensive assessments including medical histories and physical exams. Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications. Conduct office-based procedures like wound repair and splinting. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab studies and X-rays. Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Collaborate with clinical team for efficient patient care.

Qualifications

Current NP (ANCC or AANP) or PA (NCCPA) certification. Active NP or PA license in good standing. Minimum of two years of clinical experience in urgent care or similar setting. Experience with urgent care procedures like suturing and splinting. Strong clinical judgment and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
