Role Description This is a W2 full-time Psychotherapist in Private Practice role in a hybrid work model, based in Chicago, IL, with the option for some work from home. Min 2 in office days required. The psychotherapist will provide individual and relational psychotherapy to clients impacted by trauma and other mental health concerns, using evidence-informed and client-centered approaches. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating ongoing sessions, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, keep schedule up to date, attending group consultations and collaborating with colleagues for case consultation and referrals. The role also involves staying current with trauma and mental health research, participating in supervision or peer consultation, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive practice culture. Qualifications Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) and adherence to ethical and professional standards. Experience or specialized training in trauma-informed care, somatic or attachment-based approaches, or related modalities is highly beneficial. Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practice with clients of diverse identities and backgrounds. Strong interpersonal, organizational communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage a full caseload in a hybrid work environment. Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related discipline). Willingness to come into the office and work 2 evenings per week or 1 evening and 1 weekend day.
