Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a circulating nurse in a high-volume hospital setting. - Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of orthopedic surgery procedures. - Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed. - Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment. - Willingness to participate in call coverage after normal business hours and weekends. Description: The orthopedic service line provides surgical care to patients undergoing various orthopedic procedures. This includes total joint arthroplasties for the hip, knee, shoulder, and ankle. It also encompasses fracture repair, arthroscopic, and sports medicine procedures. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running. The schedule consists of five weekday shifts. Shifts typically run from early morning, and staff may be required to arrive up to an hour prior to ensure timely starts. Occasional floating to other services may be necessary based on departmental needs.
