Canyon Cabinetry & Design is a growing Tucson studio, and we are adding key members to the team. We work from a 7,500 square foot showroom with an on-site workshop, offering exclusive, elevated product and curated design that brings each client’s vision to life. We deliver a complete turnkey path — design, cabinetry, and installation — under one roof. Customer service is paramount. It is not a slogan. This role is for a designer-salesperson who can run 20/20 (2020 Design) for cabinetry, present a refined concept in the showroom, close the project, and remain the client’s designer through production, construction and installation. You stay with the job from the first conversation to the final reveal.

Essential duties

• Conduct professional consultations and develop design direction using 20/20 (2020 Design).
• Present two full design concepts for full design-service clients.
• Position Canyon as the complete turnkey solution and keep the path from concept to signed contract disciplined and timely.
• Prepare clear proposals, guide selections, and close sales.
• Stay assigned to the project through drawings, production, installation, and punch.
• Coordinate with space planning/CAD and construction team
• Generate a pipeline of work projects and provide weekly status summary
• Communicate with clients at every stage so they know where the project stands and what comes next.
• Work collaboratively with every member of the team from the Client Experience coordinator, space planning/CAD, accounting, construction, and installation.

Core skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in 20/20 (2020 Design) for cabinetry design, including plans, elevations, and client presentation.
• Technical knowledge of custom and semi-custom cabinetry, kitchen and bath design, finishes, hardware, and appliance integration.
• Construction experience desired, particularly remodel or jobsite exposure that informs buildable design and accurate scopes.
• Consultative sales ability with a focus on value, completeness of scope, and client confidence.
• Strong organization and CRM discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High-energy, self-motivated, team-oriented professional presence.
