Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details: Provides ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients and technical assistance with exercise and non-exercise stress testing. Performs two-dimensional echocardiography; Doppler, M-Mode, and contrast echocardiography; identifies EKG abnormalities and arrhythmias; assists with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE); and assists with functional, pharmacological cardiolite, and echocardiography stress testing. Demonstrates proficiency in pediatric echocardiograms. Uses computerized documentation systems, software-driven testing machines, and digital archive systems. Participates in mobile echo/vascular service regionally.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday 8 hour shift; 715am - 345pm. Start times: 645,700,715,730. Weekend rotation. Holiday rotation. Rotating weekday call 4p-7a. Participates in callback rotation.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
