Inside Sales Associate The Inside Sales Associates work on the phone and at our branch’s counter desk to service contractors, distributors, and retailers purchasing fence products. Daily Expectations Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospective customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business. Calling current customers by phone to generate orders for delivery on scheduled delivery routes and to inform customers of specials and sales promotions. Work as a team with other sales and operations people to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs. Excellence with phone sales, computer entry, and customer‑facing engagement. Desired Sales Experience or Applicable Product Knowledge Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware. Do‑It‑Yourself retail. Construction. Mechanical/Electrical. Working With Us Has Its Rewards Competitive pay range of $26.50 to $28.50 per hour (based on experience) Quarterly Bonus Program and spiffs. Monday through Friday schedule. Responsibilities Partner with the outside sales team to expand products and customer base. Collect market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, and inform the Branch Manager. Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner. Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support. Prepare job order quotations based on customer requests and information. Communicate by phone or email with customers from the time of order to the time of shipment. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent work experience. 1‑3 years of customer service/sales experience. Excellent phone and customer‑facing experience.
