Position Maintenance Technician Job Information Department: Maintenance Building/Location: Maxwell – Executive Center, Main Campus Supervisor: Director of Maintenance Months per Year: 12 Hours per Week: 40 Risk Designation: (none) Risk Level: (none) FLSA Status: Non‑exempt Salary Range: (not provided) Position Summary Ohio Christian University is seeking a qualified Director of Maintenance to oversee and manage the maintenance team on our campus in Circleville, Ohio. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Operations, the Director of Maintenance is responsible for all facilities on the campus including coordinating maintenance and repair services and adhering to all safety policies. Duties and Responsibilities To maintain, fix, repair, and replace all building and grounds items to ensure efficient and safe operating procedures. Manage time, personnel, and projects. Building maintenance. Manage and update the Maintenance Work Order System. Problem‑solve maintenance issues. Order parts. Prepare cost estimates and project projections. Snow removal and grounds support (labor and management). Act as a consultant for new construction (construction methods and products). Support campus events. Assist outside contractors as needed. Support athletic field maintenance in conjunction with the Grounds Department. Be available on evenings and weekends as the need arises. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge of building construction and maintenance. Effectively manage time and employee time. Knowledge of effective building processes and technology. Physical requirements: able to lift 25 pounds, perform repairs, and traverse property and facilities to diagnose building issues.
