Must-Have: Must have experience in General OR, Spine, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Mako Surgical Robot.

Description: Previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. The Surgical Tech will work in Orthopedics/Spine. Call requirements include three weeknight call shifts and three weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule. Floating to the Main OR may be required. Candidates must have experience with various surgical procedures, including total hip and knee replacements, and understand aseptic techniques. They must also be familiar with the care of scopes and fiber optic equipment and experience with drilling techniques and electrosurgical units. A strong understanding of sterilization and disinfection processes is essential. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility has a daily census that may vary and includes multiple operating rooms. Travelers are expected to float between nearby facilities if needed. Candidates must commit to working three of the five holidays each year, as specified. References covering the last year of experience are required. Candidates must respond to queries regarding previous employment history in similar roles.
