Lyon Metal Roofing is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team in Piney Flats, TN. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of roofing materials and metal panels to residential and commercial customers. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining our reputation for dependable service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load, secure, and transport metal roofing materials to customer sites.
• Operate company vehicles, including flatbed trucks, in compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to meet customer schedules.
• Inspect delivery vehicles before and after each trip to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Assist customers with unloading materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
• Communicate with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues.
• Follow safety protocols when handling materials and driving.

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating flatbed trucks or similar vehicles is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with local delivery routes in Tennessee.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 70 lbs).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
