Overview Five Rivers Analytics is looking for a Logistics, Warehouse & Asset SME to work in Washington, DC. The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is the mobile uniformed law‑enforcement arm of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The National Capital Region Office requires highly qualified subject‑matter experts to provide essential support for logistics, asset management, property management, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities Logistics and Warehouse Operations Manage all aspects of warehouse logistics operations, including receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment. Coordinate shipments, monitor inventory levels, and adhere to safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct inspections to verify completion of facility work orders and ensure maintenance, repair, and enhancement of the Technology Support Warehouse environment meet standards. Inventory incoming and outgoing program‑specific equipment, maintaining accurate records and supporting disposition processes. Complete monthly Health and Safety Inspection Sheets and update the UTOC Health and Safety Teams page. Oversee daily fleet operations, including fuel and maintenance invoice processing in SAP, vehicle readiness inspections, and coordination of government vehicle transport. Property Management Support Act as Local Property Officer (LPO), ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining accurate records, and managing asset accountability throughout the lifecycle. Provide guidance and technical support to personnel on property‑related activities. Deliver comprehensive asset management support, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposition. Inspect package deliveries and confirm completeness of items. Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of deployment and sustainment activities, including civil buildouts and sustainment operations. Additional duties may include escort duties, cargo security, inventory, disposition, forklift support, and vehicle transportation. Available for occasional weekend work as needed to meet mission requirements. Qualifications 3 or more years of related experience. Valid driver’s license. Ability to pass a DHS Customs and Border Protection background investigation. Availability to travel as required.
