Position: Lead Host Duties Provide quality, and genuine, hospitality in a timely manner Greeting parties as they arrive with a welcoming and accommodating attitude Make, adjust, and cancel guest reservations Distribute menus to guests as they are seated Manage seating and reservations to ensure guests get the best experience Answer calls before open hours and during shifts to handle guest reservations and inquiries Ensure the restaurant is pristinely set in preparation for guests to arrive Answer customer questions regarding food, drinks, and specials Inspire and educate the front‑of‑house staff Be the first line of communication at the front to handle customer complaints or disputes Manage floor plan to ensure efficient and excellent service throughout a given seating Acknowledge guests when they arrive and leave Communicate effectively with both guests and team members Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Requirements Passion for food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all guests Energetic and genuine positive attitude while interacting with team members and guests 3+ years experience in a fast‑paced restaurant environment A desire to succeed in a progressive, exciting, and fast‑paced environment Self‑motivated with the ability to follow directions Ability to multi‑task and stay organized during busy service times Highly service trained – effortlessly able to show others how to serve in an unpretentious yet high‑quality food & beverage environment Ability to pay attention to details Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 10+ pounds repetitively Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time We strive to embrace what makes each one of us unique; we each have our own story, and there is only one YOU.
