About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President/Senior Vice President of Group Strategy to play a pivotal role in the strategic transformation of the business, with a specific focus on evolving into a platform business model. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for the development and execution of global strategy, and will work closely with various departments to ensure the effective implementation of strategic initiatives. This role demands a professional with a strong background in strategy, corporate development, and transformation, particularly in the context of large-scale change projects. Experience in the sports, technology, media, or betting/iGaming industries is highly preferred, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, technology, AI, and innovation. Key responsibilities for the role include leading transformation initiatives, conducting market analysis to identify growth opportunities, and partnering with the M&A team to drive strategic acquisitions and partnerships. The candidate should have an advanced degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years of experience in strategy or corporate development, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment. The role also involves fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, mentoring high-performing teams, and serving as a key spokesperson for the company's strategic vision.
