Qualifications:

• Current RN license, valid in New York
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional specialty credentials a plus)
• Proficiency managing and monitoring cardiac, neurology, and respiratory patients in a critical care setting
• Strong critical thinking and collaborative abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adults in a 20-bed ICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications, interventions, and treatments per physician orders
• Accurately document patient status and care delivered
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families while delivering support and empathetic guidance
