Associate Optometrist Opportunity

Established, partner-led optometry practice is seeking a full-time Associate Optometrist to join a busy, patient-focused clinic. This position offers a consistent schedule, strong patient demand, and a supportive team environment. The incoming provider will step into an existing patient base with the opportunity to build long-term relationships and maintain a steady daily schedule.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM
• Approximately 1-hour lunch Monday–Thursday
• No lunch break on Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular diseases and conditions
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other vision solutions
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with clinical staff and partners to ensure efficient patient flow
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and overall practice culture

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Mississippi
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to manage a consistent patient volume efficiently
• Team-oriented with a patient-first approach

This is a collaborative, team-based practice with an established workflow and support staff in place. The schedule and patient demand allow for a predictable workday while maintaining a steady pace. Providers are supported in delivering quality care while also having the opportunity to be productive and efficient.
