Live-In Caregiver

Senior Helpers is currently seeking compassionate and dependable live-in caregivers who are willing to commit to live-in shifts of 3 to 7 consecutive days. This role involves providing one-on-one care in a home setting, supporting a clients with daily living activities, and providing personalized attention. Duration: Permanent Schedule: Live-in shifts of 3-7 consecutive days Responsibilities Live in the client's home for the duration of each assigned shift Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation Perform two-person Hoyer lift transfers as needed, working alongside another caregiver Provide medication reminders as assigned Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs Provide overnight availability, with adequate sleep opportunity provided per shift Requirements At least 6 months of hands-on caregiving experience Comfortable and capable performing two-person hoyer lift transfers Compassionate, caring, and patient individual Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients Comfortable living in a client's home (but own area) for multi-day stretches Able to complete required orientation, background checks, and TB test/clearance Preferred: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance Benefits $16/hour regular rate, with each live-in day paid as 16 hours (8 hours at regular rate, 8 hours at overtime (1.5x) rate) - approx. $320/day Bi-weekly pay and direct deposit with available next day earned wage pay Healthcare Management Benefit (free virtual care and many prescriptions) MN Secure Choice Retirement Plan Reward incentives & referral bonuses Senior Helpers Company Culture Senior Helpers is the FIRST and the ONLY national in-home care company to be ranked by the Great Place to Work® Institute as a Great Place to Work for five years in a row...
