About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and advance its enterprise security program. This executive role is pivotal in safeguarding the company's platform, its users, and the sensitive financial and personal data involved in real estate transactions. The CISO will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive security and risk management program, leading critical security domains, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. A key aspect of the role is to build and manage a high-performing security team, as well as to serve as the primary security authority for the company, engaging with the Board, executive leadership, and external stakeholders. Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' technical experience in software, systems, or security engineering, with a strong background in security architecture and computer science. A proven track record of at least 10 years in senior security leadership within a global technology organization is essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various security domains, including application security, cloud security, and incident response, and experience in a product-led business, particularly in a cloud-native or SaaS-first environment. The role requires a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to operate in a high-velocity, high-complexity environment, and a data-driven approach to risk management. While not mandatory, experience in the real estate or adjacent industry is a plus.
