Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 18:30 - 07:00, rotating every other weekend and holiday

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Med-Surg or inpatient rehab nursing, working with patients who have experienced stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. Our commitment is to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery and return home as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with high acuity needs.
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and implementation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
Assist nursing assistants and ensure patient safety by responding to call lights and other needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

1+ years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or a 24/7 skilled care environment.
Preferred experience in Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation.
Current BLS certification required.
