Benefits 401K match Health Insurance Hybrid Flexibility Summer Fridays Work Life Balance Job Details We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent full‑time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in the fast‑paced and rapidly evolving energy industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in our finance department, with a focus on revenue recognition, financial reporting, and internal controls. Responsibilities Oversee the month‑end close process, including the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports. Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in accordance with ASC 606. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances to actuals. Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and collection. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the energy industry. Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles under ASC 606. Proficiency in general ledger systems and Microsoft Office suite. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Knowledge of accrual-based accounting. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
