Exercise Physiologist

Hourly Pay Range:

$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

* Position: Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Rehab
* Hours: Hours of operation are 6 am- 7 pm, employee hours vary
* Schedule: 24 hours per week
* No weekends or holidays

What you will need:

* 1+ year of cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation experience highly preferred ECG (EKG) interpretation skills
* Exercise prescription and patient monitoring experience
* Bachelor of Science degree in an exercise science or a related field (e.g. Kinesiology or Physical Education). Emphasis in exercise physiology preferred. MS preferred
* Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
* ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (within 6 months of hire)

What you will do:

* Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients
* Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including vital signs and ECG (EKG)
* Modify exercise plans based on patient response and progress
* Lead group exercise sessions, including warm-up and cool-down
* Provide patient education on exercise, risk factors, and lifestyle changes
* Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
* Support safe, effective progression toward independent, home-based exercise routines
