Alliance Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) for a growing private aviation organization.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $25/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and approvals.
- Create customer invoices, apply payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online .
- Track flight-related expenses using Jet Insight .
- Process and reconcile employee expenses through Ramp .
- Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end close, reporting, and other accounting projects.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding billing and payments.
Requirements
- Experience with AP and/or AR.
- Strong QuickBooks knowledge.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and office software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a small-team environment.
- Ability to pass national criminal background check and drug test.
Preferred: Experience with Jet Insight, Ramp, aviation/charter operations, transportation, or service-based industries. Familiarity with Part 135 operations is a plus.
Ideal candidate: Someone who is accurate, organized, proactive, and takes ownership of their work.
