Construction Estimator

We’re looking for a highly skilled Construction Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in public works or K-12 construction. • Ownestimatesfromconceptthroughsubcontractorbuyout.
• Build competitive lump sum and negotiated bids for school, municipal, and specialty site projects.
• Workcloselywitharchitects,owners,andPMstoensureprecisescopesandpricing.
• Assembleproposalpackages,instructionstobidders,clarifications,andbidtabs.
• Leadsubcontractoroutreachandrecruiting,evaluations,andpricingstrategy.
• Help us win smart, profitable work — and avoid the junk.

• 5+ years of experience estimating construction projects (ideally in the public or education sector)
• Proficiency with takeoff software (Bluebeam), Microsoft Excel, and estimating platforms (RS Means)
• Experienceleadingestimatingefforts—notjustassisting.
• Strongunderstandingofunitpricing,valueengineering,andbidstrategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
