Assistant Property Manager (Tax Credit Experience Required)

Location: Tampa, FL 33610

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for an affordable housing community in Tampa, FL 33610 . The ideal candidate will have experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC), Low-Income Housing, and Yardi software and possess a strong commitment to resident satisfaction, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Property Manager with the daily operations of the community
• Process applications, recertifications, and resident files in accordance with LIHTC and affordable housing regulations
• Maintain compliance with Tax Credit and Low-Income Housing program requirements
• Support leasing efforts, resident retention, and occupancy goals
• Collect rent, process payments, and assist with delinquency management
• Utilize Yardi software for resident management, reporting, and data entry
• Respond to resident inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and resident communications
• Maintain accurate resident and property records

Qualifications:

• Previous Assistant Property Manager experience required
• Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties
• Experience with Low-Income Housing programs
• Proficiency in Yardi required
• Knowledge of affordable housing compliance and recertification processes
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
