At Boar's Head Resort , the Aqua Runner (Server Assistant) plays a key supporting role in delivering an exceptional poolside guest experience. This position ensures seamless service by assisting servers, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and anticipating guest needs in a fast-paced, outdoor setting.

The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive, and thrives in a team-oriented, hospitality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Aqua Servers by delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of poolside service areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
• Assist with setting up and breaking down poolside service areas before and after shifts
• Refill water, clear tables, and reset guest areas promptly
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure accurate and efficient service
• Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive support to enhance the overall experience
• Follow all safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of food and beverages
• Maintain awareness of pool safety guidelines and report any concerns to leadership

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak season hours

Work Environment

• Outdoor, poolside setting with exposure to heat, sun, and varying weather conditions
• Physically active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and carrying items throughout the shift
