Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking a compassionate BE/BC Palliative Medicine Physician to join a talented team of clinicians. The provider will deliver a thoughtful mix of inpatient and outpatient care while collaborating with experienced physicians and support staff. This rewarding position also offers teaching opportunities with medical students and residents in a premier regional medical center. Practice Info Mix of inpatient and outpatient services Full complement of support staff Experienced Physicians and APPs on staff Regional Tertiary Care and ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center Comprehensive, 411-bed medical center serving as the referral center for a patient population of 500,000 in the northern two-thirds of the state's geography Base for LifeFlight of Maine, a critical care air transportation service flying nearly 900 missions per year Responsibilities Work closely with other physicians, clinicians, and health professionals in a team approach to patient care Participate in teaching opportunities (i.e., med students, residents, etc.) Compensation $254,000 - $270,400 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity Benefits Employer paid malpractice coverage (lifetime tail coverage included) Student Loan Repayment Sign-On and Relocation Bonuses 8+ Weeks of PTO/CME Hospital assistance with obtaining visa with hospital sponsored pathway to green card Shift & Schedule Flexible work schedule Qualifications BE/BC Palliative Medicine Physician J-1 visa waiver program participants are welcome to apply
