R&D Materials Planner

Procurement And Supply Of Engineering Materials

Responsible for procurement and supply of engineering materials spread across various build locations.

Also responsible for material inventory levels as it moves through the R&D product cycle.

There are opportunities to communicate, and problem solve with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material throughout the procurement process.
• Determines material requirements from engineering.
• Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
• Procurement business system data input and integrity; work with BOMs and parts #in SCM database or other enterprise SW.

Experience

• Purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ideally 2-7 years.

• MS Office – Knowledge with Excel.
• Analytical and data manipulation skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Excels in fast paced environments.
• Experience working cross functionally.
• Intuitive and proactive.
• Sense of urgency.
• Experience with R&D.
• Experience with Peoplesoft a plus.
