P&C Actuarial Internship With HSB

Structured student development programme

Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy role, because the ad emphasizes broad exposure, networking, and a capstone over model ownership.

P&C actuarial internship with HSB, a Munich Re company, in Hartford, Connecticut. Over 11 weeks, you will gain hands-on pricing experience across a broad range of products, work with multiple functions, and participate in a hybrid summer program.

Requirements

Strongly preferred:

Completed sophomore year or higher by start of internship
GPA of 3.5 or above
Major in math, actuarial science, or finance
Ability to work independently without close supervision
Ability to work full-time for 11 weeks

Nice to have:

Completion of one actuarial exam
