Intern - Development - DevOps Business Strategy

$20 - $55 per hour

Gilead Sciences seeks a graduate or doctoral student intern for a 10-12 week summer position in the Development organization. The role focuses on identifying business strategy improvements, supporting process optimization initiatives, and delivering a final strategic presentation.

Responsibilities

Identify performance and efficiency improvement opportunities within Development organization
Develop case competition content and brainstorm topics for 2027 initiative
Support business strategy projects addressing development pain points and process improvements
Create and refine change management communications, templates, and stakeholder updates
Deliver final presentation summarizing internship work and strategic findings

Requirements

Currently enrolled full-time in graduate or doctoral program at accredited U.S. university
Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA; official transcripts required
Independent work authorization; no sponsorship required
Ability to commit to 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Experience with business strategy, quantitative analysis, and strategic communication preferred

Compensation: $20.00 - $55.00 hourly; includes paid holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible employees
