Location UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, Colorado, USA Department Mother Baby Unit AIP Work Schedule Full Time – 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Nights. Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, depending on experience. Night Shift Incentive Program: $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 annually) for full‑time night shift RNs. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or state board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program, or less than 3 years of experience. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Six months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. NRP certification within 6 months of hire and ACLS for those who labor (tracked at department level). BLS or CPR card (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) with a Professional Rescuer card held before start date; card must be valid through 60 days of hire. Responsibilities Provide top‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Model proficiency through precepting new staff and/or residents. Welcome new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Deliver care in women’s units, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery – Birth Center, Women’s Care, and NICUA. Apply WHONN’s and AACN’s practice standards and certifications (RNC‑OB, C‑EFM, NRP, CCRN) to guide evidence‑based care models.
