Basic Qualifications
* Intermediate Level Grade 16: Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline with 2 or more years of relevant experience. * Intermediate Level Grade 17: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline with 4 or more years of relevant experience. * Career Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline with 6 or more years of relevant experience. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Familiarity with International Building Code, NFPA, Federal and state occupational safety and health requirements that impact facility safety and equipment design. * Meets the qualifications for Professional Member Grade in the Society of Fire Protection Engineers OR has a Professional Member grade in the Society of Fire Protection Engineers OR is a Registered Professional Fire Protection Engineer. * Proven strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication and time-management skills. * Current appointment as Hanford Deputy Fire Marshal, or similar AHJ experience. * 2 years' experience performing Fire Protection Engineering duties at any DOE Complex, DOE National Laboratory, or commercial nuclear power plant. * Understanding of and demonstrated previous application of DOE Orders/Standards. * 1 year of relevant nuclear experience.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week): Salary Range:
* Intermediate Level Grade 16: $81,500 - $125,250. * Intermediate Level Grade 17: $86,200 - $137,650. * Career Level Grade 18: $94,750 - $151,800. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
