Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Neuro unit position requiring a compact or IA RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Work in the 6 North Neurology unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday (EOWEOH) required
• 26-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Current license/certification verification dated within 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a neurology-focused med surg unit
• Local candidates accepted in select states including CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, and PA
• Proof of COVID vaccination required for consideration
