Software Engineer - App Store Discovery

This team builds and evolves that experience, from the moment you open the store to the moment you tap download. Description The App Store Discovery team is looking for talented UI engineers to build the native experiences that help users discover their next favorite app. Editorial, search, personalization, and everything in between. We work with Swift and modern UI frameworks across every Apple platform, ship features with real user impact, and partner closely with design, product, and platform teams to push the experience forward. Minimum Qualifications In-depth iOS Development: Demonstrated experience (4+ years) in developing applications and user interfaces with Swift or Objective‑C. OOP and Design Skills: Solid foundation in object-oriented programming and design. Problem Solving: Exceptional problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, thriving in a team‑oriented environment. Continuous Learning: Passion for learning new skills and taking on new challenges. Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for detail to ensure top‑notch deliverables. Requirement Investigation: Proactive in investigating and understanding project requirements independently. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with multi‑functional teams, managing expectations, and delivering outstanding work on time. BS in computer science or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications Advanced iOS Frameworks: Hands‑on experience with advanced iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, AVKit/Foundation, and Core Graphics. Performance Optimization: In‑depth knowledge of performance optimization techniques for native client applications. API Integration: Expertise in integrating backend APIs and services. UI/UX Design: Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience working closely with design teams. Mentorship: Experience in mentoring junior developers and taking a lead on cross‑functional technical projects. Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
