Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Hospitalist (Nocturnist) you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Kearney specializing in diagnosing and treating patients making a significant impact on their lives and families.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care conducting thorough assessments developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.

To be successful in this role you will be a skilled board-certified and compassionate Hospitalist possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex patients alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Night Shift (6p-6a) working in collaboration with a nocturnist APP on select nights
• Hour requirement 1728 per year (144 - 12 hour shifts)
• Built-in Referral Base of 250 Primary Care Providers
• 33 Bed Open ICU
• Procedures are optional

Job Requirements

• • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with families and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality compassionate care to patients and families
