This full-time, remote position allows you to provide essential mental health care to an aging population through a telehealth platform. Work Environment\n

This position will be conducted entirely remotely, leveraging telehealth technology to provide therapy and counseling sessions. Our fully-integrated virtual platform enables seamless communication with clients, allowing for flexible scheduling while maintaining the highest standards of care and confidentiality. Work hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessitated by patient needs.

  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, aimed at alleviating conditions like depression, anxiety, and dementia-related disorders.

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating efforts with geriatric psychiatrists, medical professionals, and support staff to ensure holistic care for each client.

  • Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, offering immediate assistance to elderly patients who may be in distress.

  • Educate clients and their families about various mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources that can facilitate their journey toward recovery.

  • Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be the geriatric population, addressing an array of psychiatric conditions that affect older adults. This includes but is not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, dementia-related challenges, and adjustment difficulties faced during the later stages of life. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing not only clinical support but also companionship and understanding to this demographic.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A valid and current license, such as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist, to practice in the state of California.

  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

  • Expertise in geriatric mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities are essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
