The Role The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in the success of the Villa Roma Resort by ensuring our sales goals are met, the hotel remains highly competitive in the market, and will hold responsibility for driving revenue, alongside developing and implementing effective business sales strategies. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and collaborating with other departments to ensure ultimate guest satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Villa Roma Resort Director of Sales & Marketing this is a highly visible, cross functional position that will play a pivotal role in the resorts brand identity and achieving revenue growth. Requirements Sales Responsibilities: Lead internal teams to create compelling sales tools, decks and proposals, developing a narrative and brand alignment for the Villa Roma Resort outlets Develop SOPs, team standardized work process, clear data collection and reporting tools. Assist the Director with team onboarding and training of sales personnel as required The capacity to lead and craft sales pitches for individual private clients through to Fortune 500 companies Manage the sales pipeline, develop targeted prospect lists of potential partners, find appropriate contacts for each company and work to qualify and convert leads from industry professionals to industry influencers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research, nurture relationships with current clients and partners, maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies Aggressive research of B2C and B2B hospitality industry trends relevant to Sales Track prospects and reliably manage the sales process: update contacts, track correspondence, and provide regular pipeline updates to accurately capture all hotel sales, F+B and event activity. Working with F+B, Event Production and other property departments to establish profitable and competitive offerings in aim to excel guest experience. Participate in industry events and networking opportunities, monitor market trends and competitor activities Conduct thorough and ongoing market research to uncover new business opportunities Craft and deliver compelling sales proposals and contracts Attend and participate in designated internal meetings, continually preparing sales reports and forecasts for upper management Analyzing sales data to guide strategic decision-making and collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns Conduct site visits and presentations to potential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and promptly addressing any issues that arise Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field Proven experience in group sales ideally focused on hospitality, hotels, resorts, and or lifestyle industries. A dedicated salesperson with an extensive network and a collaborative personality, who recognizes the importance of an all-inclusive team effort. Commission Structure: In addition to the base salary we offer a 2% Sales Commission on Rooms / Food / Beverage and other revenues that are generated within the resort in alignment with our commissions policy. This commission structure is designed to reward your efforts in driving sales and enhancing the overall revenue of the resort. As you successfully secure bookings and sales , your commission will directly reflect your contributions, providing an incentive to exceed sales targets and maximize profitability.
