MRI Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days; 8-hour and 12-hour shifts; Every weekend

The MRI Technologist performs duties essential for achieving efficient, high-quality patient care using GE equipment. This role is vital in ensuring that imaging procedures are conducted effectively and with attention to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and ensure the quality of the images obtained.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment following protocols and safety standards.
• Assist in patient positioning to optimize image acquisition.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved two-year Radiology training program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
