Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2390 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with a large hospital, busy environment. Travel experience required; will not consider candidates currently on first travel assignment.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If previously employed by Sanford Health, prior end date must be at least 6 months before submission.

Unit Details: Adult medical/surgical patients, including patients experiencing behavioral disturbances. Uses telemetry, Philips monitors, bladder scanner, AcuVein, and Omnicell. 5:1 on days, 6:1 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotation with every other weekend and holiday. Rotation between days and nights varies based on unit needs and may include 3 weeks on days followed by 3 weeks on nights, or an entire schedule cycle on all days or all nights. Travelers can self-schedule; however, only the days off listed on the contract are guaranteed, and self-scheduled shifts may be moved to balance the unit. If a specific day off cannot be supported, staff are expected to trade shifts. The unit aims to avoid frequent flipping between days and nights when balancing the schedule.

Floating Requirements: Can float to all Med/Surg units on all 3 campuses in Fargo as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
